Privacy Policy
Fabot is a private personal application. It is used to connect authorized accounts, process selected mailbox data, archive approved mail actions, and display summaries in a protected dashboard.
Information processed
When an authorized mailbox account is connected, Fabot may process account identifiers, email addresses, message metadata, selected message bodies, sender information, OAuth access tokens, OAuth refresh tokens, generated classifications, and generated summaries.
Purpose of processing
Fabot uses mailbox data to detect newsletters, normalize email records, generate digest summaries, identify potentially important messages, archive approved messages, and show the results to the authenticated owner.
Google user data
For Gmail connections, Fabot requests read and write access. Google user data is used only to provide the application's mailbox reading, newsletter detection, summarization, and approved mail management features. Fabot does not use Google user data for advertising and does not sell Google user data.
Sharing
Fabot does not sell personal data. Data is not shared with third parties except when needed to operate the configured application infrastructure and requested features, such as secure hosting, database storage, object storage for generated summary documents, and the owner-enabled notification channel.
Storage and security
OAuth tokens are stored encrypted at rest. The dashboard requires authentication, and backend API access is limited to internal services. Sensitive mailbox actions require explicit approval and audit logging.
Retention and deletion
Data is retained for the owner's personal operational use. Connected accounts can be revoked through the provider account settings, and stored application data can be removed by the operator.
